Freefly Smart Dovetail Payload Adapter lets you turn any sensor into a quick-release, plug-and-play payload for Astro or any aircraft that follows the Pixhawk Payload Bus standard. Bolt the adapter to your camera, LiDAR, or custom tool, plug in the 26-pin micro-connector, and slide the dovetail into Astro’s factory-installed receiver for secure mechanical and electrical integration.

- One-step payload swaps—no wiring each time you fly.
- Full power, MAVLink, Ethernet, and serial through the 26-pin bus.
- Receiver side ships on every Astro; extra receivers sold separately for other vehicles.
- Note: Dovetail is not hot-swap capable. Power down before attaching or removing payloads.
