Freefly 12 mm Rail Payload Mount Kit gives Alta X a robust, lightweight twin-rail interface for third-party cameras, sensors, and accessories. The kit uses 12 mm (≈0.47 in) carbon tubes at 500 mm (≈19.7 in) length with a 149–150 mm center-to-center spacing (≈5.9 in) that matches common rail-mount payloads. Precision-machined aluminum brackets keep the structure rigid while holding system weight to just 6.6 oz.
Setup is fast and repeatable. Bright red quick-adjust levers make center-of-gravity tweaks obvious, lock securely for flight, and break down quickly for storage. The kit integrates cleanly with Alta X that has landing gear attached to the chassis and pairs naturally with Freefly Skid Landing Gear for under-belly payloads that need extra clearance.
