Description
Available in 3 sizes, this tube is slid over the components or wire, and heated with a lighter, flame, steam or heat gun to shrink fit. It traps components together, protects and stops multi-strand wire from unraveling. Especially useful when making wire shark traces and game fishing rigs.
What size do I use?
4.0mm Adhesive Heat Shrink Tube fits double crimps up to 1.3mm
4.5mm Adhesive Heat Shrink Tube fits double crimps up to 1.6 – 2.0mm – the adhesive seals the tube on to the crimp – perfect for shark traces.
9.5mm Adhesive Heat Shrink Tube is the best size for finishing hook sets for trolling lures where you need to cover the eye of the hook.
Tip – if you are having trouble shrinking tube to make a snug fit, try using a smaller size tube inside to provide a better fit.
