HYPER THIN 12G SDI CABLE BUILDER Our Hyper Thin 12G SDI cables are made from RG179 cable and 12G Amphenol connectors. These cables are 12G compliant as they are 36″ and under keeping them in the 12 Gigabits per second range. Cables over 36″ fall out of the 12G spec and are only 6G/3G depending on length.
We use the industry standards for length measurement which is between which is the inside edge between the connectors.
