The Avet MXJ G2 6/4 is a compact two-speed lever drag reel that punches well above its weight class. Despite its small frame, it delivers 20lbs of drag at full — more than enough to handle 50lb tuna on micro braided line — with 470 yards of 50lb capacity on the spool. The solid one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum frame won’t flex under load, and the Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag washers provide smooth, consistent stopping power through long fights.
The 6.4:1 high gear lets you gain line quickly on running fish; drop into the 3.8:1 low gear for maximum cranking power when a fish sounds. Available in Silver, Blue, and Black with Glideplate. Left hand retrieve available in Silver only. Made in USA.
